Figured I'd post this to CGsociety also, my gallery deserves an update.
This is my 3D version of Andrew Abello's real-life roadwarrior/bosozoku Nissan 240SX.
This project is a borderline gameart/rendering experiment where I created a high detail car that is meant more for software rendering, but present it using realtime technology only.
The car has 29.840 tri's, about 6 highres textures ranging from 4096 to 1024, all with specularmaps. The wheels have bumpmaps, the body has a glossmap and the windows have an opacitymap.
All screenshots taken inside the new Max 2010, with special features like SSAO and antialiasing turned up to maximum.
