A fantastic work by one of my favorite architects, Frank Lloyd Wright, and something different than Fallingwater for a change. I started modelling this building before I went to Tokyo and visited the real thing, but finished it afterwards. This means it's not 100% correct in terms of size, but it's intended to be more the pretty picture archviz than a correct one.
Max 9, Xfrog and Vue for trees, Vray 1.5, Photoshop for post and textures.

The real building can be found in Tokyo, Ikebukuro neighbourhood. Visit http://www.jiyu.jp/index-e.html for more info.

F1X Formula Nippon Render

A render of the lowpoly model I made of my F1X futuristic "air formula 1" racer, which I named Formula Nippon.
The model really isn't intended for renders, I built it with GTA San Andreas in mind, it has about 8500 polygons, two 1024 sheets and two 512's.
I have two concept paintings of it as well, I'll show them here too, as I don't think their quality justifies them a seperate thread (I consider my 2D skills way below my 3D skills )

Anyway, I still really llike this design, maybe the big intakes are a bit too square, but in general it's awesome if you ask me, haha.
One day I also want to rebuild this in high poly and make some racing animation with it. But I have much to learn until then

The final render of my Italdesign/Lamborghini Cala. I held off modelling this one for a long time because I really wanted to do justice to this masterpiece by Giugiaro. I'm quite satisfied with the result.
Working time was about 130 hours until now. The original render was 3600x3454 (for A0 print), rendered in 4 parts that each took about 1,5 hours.

I did some adjustments to it, modelled some extra stuff, and painted tons of textures. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out
